    Development/Volunteer Coordinator – Admin Office

    Description

    Responsible for development and coordinator of events and community engagement to generate funds, attendance, and community awareness and involvement. Administers the volunteer program by overseeing the recruitment, scheduling, processing, training, retention and recognition of all volunteer/interns. Provides administrative support for the Development Department to include assistance with the donor management system and processing of gift acknowledgement.

    This position is a full-time, benefit eligible, hourly position. The pay range for this position is $32,000 to $36,000.

    Position: Intake & Placement After hours Specialist – Telecommuting and I&P Offices

    Description

    Coordinate the intake of children and secure the least restrictive placement for youth in out-of-home care, focusing on after normal business hours.  Act as the initial point of contact in receiving intakes and securing the best possible placement match for children in out-of-home care.  Respond quickly to intake and placement requests from Protective Investigations and placement related needs and/or emergencies from all providers and partners.  Assign cases to the appropriate Case Management Organization on a rotational basis.  Schedule and coordinate ICC/ESI staffing.  Attend staffings when appropriate.

    This position is a full-time, benefit eligible, hourly position. The pay range for this position is $35,000 to $43,750.

    Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in social work or a human service related field from an accredited college or university
      • Child Welfare Professional Certification, preferred
      • PRIDE/MAPP training or certification and knowledge of trauma informed care, preferred

    Position: Outreach Coordinator – The Village 

    Description

    Community engagement and outreach efforts to promote The Village Transitional Housing Program for homeless and former foster youth as a resource and an option to prevent homelessness. This position will require some weekend and evening hours.

    This position is a part-time, hourly position. The pay range for this position is starts at $13.50

  4. Adoptions Support Coordinator – Brevard County

    Position: Adoptions Support Coordinator – Brevard County

    Description

    To act as a community liaison in supporting the adoptions program in outreach, recruitment, education and knowledge, and overall support. Recruit for and teach at least 3 PRIDE sessions per fiscal year, which will include nights and weekends. Also responsible for ongoing engagement of those pre-adoptive families until successful approval of the adoptive packet.

    This position is a full-time, benefit eligible, hourly position. The pay range for this position is $37,284 to $46,724.

    Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in social work or a human service related field from an accredited college or university
      • Child Protection Certification required
      • PRIDE Trained, preferred
      • At least one year’s experience working in the adoptions field, preferred

  5. Telehealth Support Specialist – Telecommuting

    Position:  Telehealth Support Specialist – Telecommuting   

    Description

    Coordinate and facilitate support of tasks related to referrals, scheduling appointments, clinic visits, medication issues, telehealth support, release of information, daily billing, and must have flexible hours including evenings and Saturdays. Must be able to work remotely and manage general office needs. Must have designated work area in home and the ability to accommodate patient’s needs remotely.

    This is a full-time, benefit eligible, hourly position. The pay range for this position is $27,200 to $32,650.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED Certificate required; Associat’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Bilingual Spanish preferred

  6. Director of Child Well Being – Admin Office

    Position:  Director of Child Well Being – Admin Office  

    Description

    To oversee the day-to-day operations for all IMPOWER child welfare programs, in accordance with Federal, State and Local guidelines ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children and promoting timely permanency for children involved in the Florida Dependency system. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with performance outcomes as defined by child wellbeing funders, provide reports as required to funders and supervisor on a monthly basis, or more often if requested. Timely and effective hiring, training, development of new staff to ensure vacancies are filled no later than 30 days of vacancy. Maintain fiscally sound programs, including timely development of program budgets, monthly review of financial statements and holding managers accountable for budget management.

    This is a full-time, exempt salary, benefits eligible position. The pay range for this position is $60,000-80,000 annually.

        • Bachelors in Social Work, or a related human services field from an accredited college or university or Associates Degree in social work or a related human services field from an accredited college or university and four plus years of experience in human services or child welfare programs.

    Position:  Targeted Case Manager – Osceola County  

    Description

    Implement all aspects of the Targeted Case Management program in order to optimize the functioning of individuals who have complex needs by coordinating provision of quality treatment and support services in the most efficient and effective manner. Complete intake process of all referrals in a timely manner. Ensure assessments are completed within the appropriate time frame and in accordance with criteria in policy and procedure, Medicaid handbook and FS CH 65-E-15. Work with client and the client’s family to address issues related to the implementation of the service plan.

    This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly, benefits eligible position. The pay range for this position is $13.46-$15.39 per hour.

    Qualifications

        • Bachelors in Social Work, or a related human services field from an accredited college or university or Associates Degree in social work or a related human services field from an accredited college or university and four plus years of experience in human services or child welfare programs.

    Position:  Wraparound Specialist – Orange County  

    Description

    To provide case management services to youth and families with mental health needs utilizing the wraparound model. This position is in partnership with Wraparound Orange. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a caseload of 10-12 families with a minimum of 10 hours of service contact per month per family to include bi-weekly face-to-face contacts with the youth and family at times and locations that are convenient to the family – to include weekends and evening hours.

    This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly, benefits eligible position. The pay range for this position is $13.46-$15.39 per hour.

    Qualifications

    Description

    Candidates are required to be enrolled at an accredited College or University with a focus on Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business or related field. Applicants must be at the junior or senior level with at least a 3.0 GPA. This is a volunteer position. College credit may be available depending on the requirements of your college or university.

    This position is responsible for managing and expanding IMPOWER’s social media outlets such as Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Twitter. Monitoring and analyzing all agency social media outlets will need to be provided in bi-weekly reports. Responsible for drafting content for and assisting with updates to the IMPOWER website as well as drafting press releases and creating promotional materials for special events and programs.

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business or related field from an accredited college or university.
    • Highly organized and able to successfully and simultaneously manage many tasks of broad variety in a timely and efficient manner.

    Description

    We have an immediate need for several Physician Assistants who have a special interest in growing as a professional in mental health care. IMPOWER will assist the PA in obtaining Psychiatric Certification as a requirement of the job.  The PA will be required to work under the direct supervision of a Psychiatrist with duties including but not limited to examination, diagnosis and treatment of patients.    Some travel is required and services performed primarily in Seminole, Orange & Osceola Counties.

    This is can be a full-time, part-time, or independent contractor position.

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate must be a licensed Physician’s Assistant in the State of Florida, be able to pass a multi-level background screening, meets credentialing requirements for Medicaid & Medicare, has completed a physician assistant program at an accredited school including clinical training, and completes all employee hiring requirements with IMPOWER. One year minimum experience is desired.

  15. Psychiatrist

    Description

    To provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, ARNP and Peers supervision and leadership for the Outpatient and Clinic services for multiple sights.

    Responsibilities

            • Abide by the ethics, policies and procedures, and professional standards of IMPOWER.
            • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation and licensing standards as well as agency policies and procedures.
            • Ensure the provision of high quality and timely access to client services.
            • Maintain regular communication with the Program Director, including potential liability issues or significant incidents that put the agency or the clients at risk.
            • Provide effective and efficient psychiatric evaluations, explanations of psychiatric evaluations to family members and medication management.
            • Provide peer reviews for cases that have been seen by other doctors and nurses at IMPOWER.
            • Ensure that prescriptions for medications will follow the formulary lists provided by the funders whenever possible. Written prescriptions will follow state and federal rules and regulations.
            • Ensure the supervision of ARNP and Other MD’s and be sure that they are following ISI procedures and that the documentation is in compliance with the Medicaid Community Mental Health Manual requirements for progress notes.
            • Ensure that every office will comply with a treatment plan for cases.
            • Being available for emergency consultations and respond to these emergency calls in a timely manner.
            • Identify complex clients in order to respond appropriately to the client’s medical needs.
            • Ensure appropriate communication between the staff regarding the PCP and the coordination with other professionals as needed.

    Qualifications, Education, Experience

            • MD, Florida psychiatric license and at least two years post licensure experience providing direct services in the clinical specialty area
            • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance, and successful motor vehicle driving record background check. (3-year driving record check.)
