Our response to COVID-19

A message from our CEO, Anna Kesic:

IMPOWER is taking the threat of the coronavirus very seriously and as such we are actively monitoring updates and guidance from the Center for Disease Control, World Health Organization and Department of Health. Our priority is always to keep our clients, our staff and our partners safe.

We already largely exist as a virtual organization with the majority of our workforce operating remotely and therefore expect no disruption in services. With Telehealth serving as our primary mode of treatment for all of our Outpatient Services, our clients can rest assured that they can continue to receive timely, quality and safe care via a smartphone, tablet or computer.

In an abundance of caution, however, we are taking precautions and transitioning many of our adminstrative and office-based staff to work remotely as well. As such, our office hours may be impacted by this in the coming week/s but our phone lines and emails will remain fully operational and our team members will continue to be available to assist clients and partners.

At our residential programs, The Grove and The Village, we are limiting visitors and external partners on campus. Effective immediately only essential personnel will be permitted for the safety and well-being of our clients and our team members. We have also ceased all volunteer activities at this time at all locations.

We will keep monitoring the situation and will share additional updates in the event we need to take further action.
