Bridging the Gap to Adulthood Support for Ages 18–24
At IMPOWER, we help young adults build a stable foundation for the future. Our Supportive Housing Services are designed for individuals ages 18–24 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, providing the resources, guidance, and stability needed to successfully transition into adulthood.
Our Programs
Rapid Rehousing
We connect young adults with safe, stable housing while offering wraparound supports to help them thrive.
Primary Services:
- Case management
- Housing search & navigation
Additional Support Includes:
- Employment search & job training assistance
- Credit counseling & budget management
- Help accessing public benefits (SSI, SNAP, etc.)
- Basic needs assistance (clothing, food, transportation)
- Referrals to other community services for long-term stability
How to Apply:
Referrals for Rapid Rehousing and Permanent Supportive Housing are coordinated through the Central Florida Coordinated Entry System.
Call United Way’s 2-1-1 to complete a Needs Assessment, or Visit a United Way office during designated hours to complete an assessment in person
- Seminole County HUB: 9:00 am to 10:30 am 600 N US Hwy 17 92 #130 Longwood, FL, 32750 The Sharing Center- The Oasis Monthly, fourth Monday of the month
- Orange County HUB: 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm 150 W Michigan St. Orlando, FL, 32806 United Against Poverty, Suite A Weekly, every Friday
- Osceola County HUB: 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm 122 W Sproule Ave. Kissimmee, FL, 34741 Hope Partnership First and Third Thursday of the month
Please note: Completing an assessment does not guarantee housing.
Permanency & Extended Support Services (Orange County Only)
These services assist unaccompanied young adults (ages 18–24) in Orange County who do not qualify for other housing programs, helping them gain independence and stability.
Key Services Include:
- Case Management
- Job skills development & employment support
- Financial literacy & budgeting education
- Assistance with benefits (Food Stamps, Medicaid, etc.)
- Academic support & educational planning
- Help obtaining vital documents
- Assistance securing and maintaining affordable housing
